READING YOUR SILENCE

Silence is golden,
And so are you,
I try reading those emotions hidden,
I hope I don't disappoint you.
There are moments,
While figuring your taciturnity out,
I lose my own talents,
Yet I love your laughter pout.
The soul inside you intrigues me,
I want to know more and more about your heart,
What secrets lie behind those wordless tease,
Everyday, I learn you part by part.
Your reticence makes me wonder,
Am I being too much?
But then every time I surrender,
When I feel your comfortable touch.
And I know you're reading this letter,
Don't hate me for any mistake,
I wish I could express myself better,
Whenever you fall silent, I feel an ache.
Your silence allures my mind,
It makes me restless,
I try to find ways to open that lip-bind,
Dear, just once overcome your weakness.
Maybe it is not a sign of being weak,
Rather a representation of resilience,
Yet I stand out here in bleak,
Waiting for your lips to kiss my ears,
I am still reading you through your silence...
